When eating healthy food and exercising is a way of life, not only will you be healthier–you will have more energy, sleep well, and your cholesterol numbers will improve. With this lifestyle you will be able to achieve and maintain a healthy weight. You will look better and feel better​.



Here are some changes towards Physical Wellness you may want to work on...
 

Learning how to lose weight and how to keep it off

Having a restful, deep sleep

Improving your blood sugar and cholesterol

Developing an exercise plan that fits into your schedule and ability

Creating healthy eating habits

Freeing yourself of an addiction (Pain pills (Opioids) food, tobacco,  Alcohol) 

Signs of Physical Wellness

Maintaining healthy habits...such as a balanced diet, exercise, and a good nights sleep 

Getting through daily activities without undue fatigue or physical stress​

Avoiding  destructive habits, such as tobacco, drugs, and alcohol​

lab values, blood pressure, heart rate or within a normal range

When thinking of physical wellness, ask yourself these questions:  Do  I eat 3 to 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day? Am I exercising 150 min. a week?  Do I take a multivitamin everyday? Do I drink 6 to 8 glasses of water everyday? Answering “yes” to all these questions may seem overwhelming, but you have taken your first step by even considering the answers. You can do this!
