   Just four months following the bombing, Heather was living independently and returned to her job as a Human Resources Manager, on a part time basis. Within the first year following her amputation, she started participating in the activities she loves, including paddle boarding, running and wearing high heels.

Since then she started a foundation in name.

This organization has been setup in order to ensure the voice of the UK amputee and limb impaired is represented and heard at both a national and local level.  To ensure the amputee population receives relevant and up to date information.
