We've made incredible advances in technology in recent years, but too often it seems only certain fortunate people can benefit. Engineer Krista Donaldson introduces the ReMotion knee, a prosthetic device for above-knee amputees, many of whom earn less than $4 a day. The design contains best-in-class technology and yet is far cheaper than other prosthetics on the market.

Board certified prosthetist, speaks at Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center Denver. Kevin and his partner Dan Strzempka, designed the prosthetic tail for Winter the dolphin. The story inspired the movie, "Dolphin Tale.'

Born missing a limb from her elbow, Danielle found ways to succeed in nursing school, graduate and land a job as a pediatric nurse. 

This is Mukesh, a double BKA and he swims at least three times per week for an hour each time. 

He recommends this highly for all amputees,

if you have access to a pool. Mukesh is also a golfer.

Nate has been crushing it on his wakeskate since he has began to recover from his motorcycle accident a little over a year ago. In this edit Nate gives us a little bit of motivation in basically showing the world that you can do anything you put your mind to. Keep crushing it Nate.

Shaholly Ayers is an Amputee Model. She was born without the lower part of her right arm. Shaholly was able to Kayak thanks to the Hammerhead Kayak T.D. attachment. Here is a video of her kayaking for the first time.  

This is Amber, at 22 years old, she faced the decision of amputating her leg right above her knee after a driver came into her lane head on. here's just part of her story.
