A lot goes on before, during and after this major event in your life.  We recommend that you build a support system, with family and friends.  If possible, do not do this on your own.  Take some time to read through these different sections and take notes if needed.  This will prepare you when you meet with your surgeon or the next time you have the opportunity to meet with the PA or nurse.
